Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (*.docx)
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The Editorial Board welcomes submissions of original research abstracts for inclusion in the conference proceedings. To submit an abstract, the corresponding author must register on the conference's website at https://conf.fl.kpi.ua/ via the Open Journal Systems platform and complete the submission process. During registration, it is necessary to fill in all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*). The deadline for abstract submission is April 21, 2026.

Abstracts must present relevant, high-quality scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field and is of interest to an international academic audience. Submissions are accepted in Ukrainian or English.

In the “Comments for the Editor” section of the submission system, authors may include additional remarks intended only for the Editorial Board.

All submissions are subject to editorial review.

Abstracts must be of a quality and relevance that the Editorial Board considers of interest to an international audience.

The author bears full responsibility for:

  • the content of the abstract;

  • personal authorship and originality of the work;

  • the accuracy of facts, quotations, and proper names;

  • correct citation of sources and references;

  • compliance with academic integrity and publication ethics.

Abstracts must reflect the solution or investigation of a scientific problem, be carefully edited and proofread, and must not contain borrowed text fragments (plagiarism).

The Editorial Staff will not consider submissions that:

  • do not comply with the Author Guidelines;

  • fail to contribute new knowledge to the field;

  • are poorly written or contain significant grammatical, stylistic, or formatting errors;

  • violate principles of publication ethics, including but not limited to:

    • plagiarism,

    • self-plagiarism,

    • data fabrication or falsification,

    • duplicate submission,

    • redundant publication.

Abstracts should follow the IMRAD structure:

Introduction

  • Introduce the research problem and its relevance.

  • Present the aim or research question.

  • Provide brief context and theoretical background.

Methods

  • Describe the methodology, research design, data collection, and analytical approaches used in the study.

Results

  • Present the main findings of the research clearly and concisely.

Discussion

  • Interpret the results and explain their significance.

  • Indicate theoretical or practical implications.

Conclusion (optional but recommended)

  • Summarize the key contribution of the study and possible directions for further research.

Formatting:

Abstracts must meet the following formatting specifications:

  • Length: 4–5 pages

  • File format: Microsoft Word (*.docx)

  • Paper size: A4

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font size: 14 pt (unless otherwise specified)

  • Line spacing: Single

  • Margins: 2 cm on all sides

  • Paragraph indent: 0.75 cm

  • Spacing before/after paragraphs: 0

Footnotes and endnotes are not allowed. Tables and figures should be clearly formatted and integrated into the text. All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list.

The names, affiliations, email addresses, and other personal data entered in the conference submission system will be used exclusively for the purposes of organizing the conference and publishing the conference proceedings.

This information will be used for:

  • communication with authors regarding their submissions;

  • editorial and review processes;

  • preparation and publication of the conference proceedings;

  • indexing and dissemination of published materials.

Personal data will not be shared with third parties for commercial purposes and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and academic publishing standards.
